What we store on your device, why, and how to change your mind. Nothing beyond the essentials is set until you tell us it's alright.

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, device identifiers — do much the same job, and this policy covers all of them. We keep our use of them deliberately narrow.
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we may only set cookies that are not strictly necessary if you agree. So when you first arrive, nothing beyond the essentials runs. Analytics and marketing stay switched off until you accept them, and you can accept some and refuse others.
You can change or withdraw your choice whenever you like: . Your preference is remembered on your device, so you may need to set it again on another browser or after clearing your browsing data.
Necessary — makes the site work and remembers your cookie choice. Always on; it cannot be switched off, because without it we could not honour your decision.
Analytics — Google Analytics, which tells us in aggregate which pages people find and read. It never tells us who you are.
Marketing — Apollo, which helps us recognise the organisation a visitor is from so our team can follow up sensibly. This is the one most people think twice about, which is why it is off by default and clearly separated from analytics.

Google Analytics is provided by Google, and Apollo by Apollo.io — both process data on our behalf as part of these tools. Their own notices explain what they do with it. This policy covers cookies only; how we handle personal data generally is set out in the NodeMasters GmbH privacy policy, which applies to this site.
None of this touches the confidential detail of a case. Employment matters you raise with us are handled inside the Counsl platform on UK and EU-based servers, in compliance with GDPR, and are never passed to analytics or marketing tools.
Everything on this site still works. You can read every page and book a demo. We simply learn less about how the site is used, and the booking step will not know anything about you before you fill it in.
Your browser can also block or delete cookies for every site you visit — look under privacy or site settings. Blocking all cookies may break parts of other websites you use, so the controls on this page are usually the gentler option.
